Kevin H. Vollmers is the executive director of Gazillion Strong. He is also the founder of LGA, formally Land of Gazillion Adoptees. Much of his work focuses on the intersectionality between adoption, race, culture, identity, performance, art, politics, pop culture, and social movement.
He has been featured in The New York Times, National Public Radio, Minnesota Public Radio, CNN, Colorlines, Racialicious, Hyphen, The Good Men Project, Daily Beast, and Fox News.
He considers adultism, racial and economic disparities, and much of White Minnesota’s inability/lack of desire to address the racial and economic disparities to be among the greatest challenges facing Minnesota today.
Kevin is inspired by youth and the power of their voices.
