Throughout HACER’s (Hispanic Advocacy and Community Empowerment through Research) history, they have specialized in qualitative research methods to further advocacy efforts to give voice to diverse Hispanic/Latino communities.

Their areas of study include community development and demographic change, Housing, Education, Public Health, Criminal Justice and Crime Prevention, and Social Welfare. HACER has demonstrated its capacity to successfully conduct and engage in qualitative research through their wide range of publications that address a variety of issues affecting diverse Hispanic/Latino communities in Minnesota.
